Bakewell Tarts - 6 Pack
93%Read ReviewsReady To Eat
The Bakewell Tart is a British classic — a buttery pastry shell filled with raspberry jam and almond frangipane, topped with icing — and Ackroyd’s version leans harder into the almond than most, in the tradition of the third-generation Redford, Michigan bakery Al and Silas Ackroyd founded in 1949. The sweet program that visiting Scottish Master Baker John Lindsay helped establish has been producing tarts like these for over 70 years. Six tarts from one of America’s only traditional Scottish bakeries.

Authentic Scottish Baking Since 1949
Authentic Scottish Baking Since 1949

Ackroyd's Scottish Bakery, the third-generation Redford, Michigan institution behind handmade meat pies, sausage rolls, and buttery shortbread, has been keeping Scottish baking traditions alive in the American Midwest since 1949. What began as a Scottish butcher shop just outside Detroit became, over decades, one of the country's most trusted sources for authentic Scottish savory and sweet goods.
Woman-owned and family-run, Ackroyd's replaced its original storefront with a modern production facility without changing a single recipe — the same time-honored formulas, the same standard of craft, now shipped nationwide on Goldbelly.
