The British Isles’ most civilized tradition, assembled by one of America’s only traditional Scottish bakeries: Ackroyd’s Redford, Michigan scones alongside their small-batch Michigan-made jam and proper clotted cream. Authentic Scottish Baking Since 1949
Authentic Scottish Baking Since 1949

Ackroyd's Scottish Bakery, the third-generation Redford, Michigan institution behind handmade meat pies, sausage rolls, and buttery shortbread, has been keeping Scottish baking traditions alive in the American Midwest since 1949. What began as a Scottish butcher shop just outside Detroit became, over decades, one of the country's most trusted sources for authentic Scottish savory and sweet goods.
Woman-owned and family-run, Ackroyd's replaced its original storefront with a modern production facility without changing a single recipe — the same time-honored formulas, the same standard of craft, now shipped nationwide on Goldbelly.
