Wendy and Dave Achatz have been concocting some of the nation’s best pies since 1993, when they started baking in their Victorian home in Armada, Michigan. After moving the operation nearby to a ten-acre apple orchard, Achatz Handmade Pie Co. was officially born. Many of their recipes have been passed through generations, and they continue the tradition by sharing the same handmade techniques instilled from childhood.

- Achatz’s Chicken Pot Pie is shipped frozen with dry ice
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit, the product may thaw
- DO NOT Remove Dry Ice with Bare Hands
- Upon arrival, store in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or stored in the freezer for a month
To Serve
- Preheat oven to 385 F
- Remove pie from box and place on baking sheet
- Brush top of crust with a small amount of milk or egg wash
- Place on center rack of oven and bake for 70 – 90 minutes or until golden brown crust
- Remove from oven on baking sheet and let stand for 15 minutes before serving
- Enjoy!
