Some restrictions applyThis is the highest quality Sockeye Salmon in the world. Reefnet fishing is the most sustainable fishing practice in the world.
For several years Pike Place Chowder has been funding work to restore our salmon population here in the Salish Sea (Puget Sound.) We do this through the 501c3, non-profit organization, Salish Center for Sustainable Fishing Methods. One of the areas that we work in is harvesting salmon here in the most sustainable fishing practice possible—Reefnet Fishing. Part of our mission statement is to educate people about this practice used by the Salish People for over 1000 years. As an organization, we support work in all areas of sustainability. This year we were able to harvest some of the most beautiful Sockeye and Coho salmon we have seen in years. Through Goldbelly, we are making some of this beautiful salmon available to you for the holiday season and beyond. It is some of the finest quality salmon in the world, caught in the most sustainable method in the world. If you’d like to find out more about Reef net Fishing please check out our Salish Center website; salishcenter.org. Thirty percent of your purchase will be tax deductible as a donation to our 501c3 non-profit organization. Please send an email to salishcenter.org to receive your tax receipt. We wish you the happiest of holiday seasons and best wishes for the coming year. – Larry Mellum, owner and founder, Pike Place Chowder.
