Santa's Secret Christmas Kringle - 2 Pack

O&H Danish Bakery starts with Santa’s secret Red Velvet cake recipe and layers it with silky smooth vanilla pudding. If that isn’t enough, they finish with their signature creamy frosting and garnish it with Christmas sprinkles. Ho, Ho, Oh…this tastes so good, no wonder he’s been keeping it a secret!

O&H Danish Bakery was started by Danish immigrant Christian Olesen in 1949. The fourth generation of the Olesen family continues the family tradition of making Dutch kringle at O&H Danish Bakery in Racine, Wisconsin. The Wisconsin bakery is hand-making Kringles, a buttery, flaky oval-shaped fruit or nut-filled pastry that was honored as Wisconsin’s official state pastry in 2013. O&H Danish Bakery handmakes its award-winning kringle in classic flavors like almond, cherry cheese, raspberry, and pecan.

This package includes 2 Santa’s Secret Christmas Kringles

  • Each kringle serves 8-10 people and weighs 1.8 lbs.
  • Kringles can be stored for 7 days at room temperature, or 6 months in the freezer.
  • Refrigeration is not recommended as it can affect the texture, but if necessary kringles may be kept refrigerated for up to 10 days.
  • We seriously doubt it will last that long, since they are quite delicious, but it’s always nice to know you have options!
  • If frozen, let stand for 6 hours at room temperature or 12 hours in the refrigerator to thaw.
  • Kringles are best served at room temperature or warmed in the oven.

To Serve

  • Remove Kringle from wax bag, remove plastic sheet, and remove from plastic tray.
  • If a warm Kringle is desired, place in a 350° F oven for 3-1/2 minutes. (Kringle can also be warmed in a microwave.)
  • Cut Kringle into 1 or 2 inch slices.
  • Enjoy!

Babely blondes, drinking from the skulls of your enemies, nail-biting Hans Christian bedtime stories - the Danes have blessed us with many a gem, but perhaps none as especially fabulous as the kringle - a buttery, flaky fruit or nut-filled pastry best scarfed down quickly in your car so as to avoid sharing.

Perfected by O&H Danish Bakery, which was founded by a Danish immigrant in the 1900’s, the family tradition of baking excellence still continues today, with the fourth generation of children and talented bakers now kringlin’ out all varieties of delicious pastries in flavors like almond, cherry, and even Red Velvet.
