The New York Times called it “the best cheesecake in the material world” — and at the corner of Flatbush and DeKalb in Downtown Brooklyn, where Harry Rosen opened Junior’s on Election Day 1950 and named it after his sons, three generations of the Rosen family have been proving that right ever since. The 10-inch Original weighs 6 lbs. and serves up to 20: cream cheese, heavy cream, eggs, and vanilla on a signature sponge cake crust — the recipe Harry perfected with Danish baker Eigel Peterson in the 1950s and no one has touched since.
This package serves 18-20 people and includes 1 Original Cheesecake
- Each cheesecake measures 10" and weighs approx. 6 lbs
- Each cheesecake is packed in a custom-fit cooler with dry ice and then placed in a branded corrugated box and shrink wrapped
- Each cheesecake arrives sealed in a branded box, making this a perfect gift!
- All of Junior’s mail-order cheesecakes are certified Kosher-Dairy under the supervision of Kof-K
- Cheesecakes ships frozen with dry ice.
- Dry ice may dissipate in transit, product may thaw.
- Do not remove dry ice with bare hands.
- Upon arrival, place cheesecake in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
- Cheesecakes last up to 5 days in the refrigerator (in an airtight container) or up to 6 months in the freezer.
To Serve
- Defrost cheesecake in the refrigerator overnight.
