Back in 1967, Ron Peskin was working at his uncle’s deli when he was offered the opportunity to purchase a struggling Los Angeles Jewish deli called Brent’s. By sheer coincidence, his young son’s name also happened to be Brent, so he took it as a sign and bought the deli. More than 50 years later, Ron continues to run the now-iconic Brent’s Deli along with his family. A commitment to high standards, top-quality ingredients, and family values has cemented Brent’s Deli’s reputation as one of the very best Jewish delis in America.

Jewish Deli Classics Since 1967
Jewish Deli Classics Since 1967

Since 1967, Brent’s Deli has been serving up top-notch pastrami & corned beef sandwiches, mile-high Reubens, matzo ball soup, bagel brunches with hand-cut lox, homemade desserts, and more Jewish deli classics to grateful Southern California locals. Back in 1967, Ron Peskin was working at his uncle’s deli when he was offered the opportunity to purchase a struggling Los Angeles deli called Brent’s. By sheer coincidence, his young son’s name also happened to be Brent, so he took it as a sign and bought the deli. Ron didn’t take a day off for the first year and a half and made every sandwich himself, in pursuit of nothing less than perfection.
More than 50 years later, Ron continues to run the now-iconic deli along with Brent, Brent’s wife Dori, and his granddaughters Taylor and Jordan. A second location has also opened in neighboring Westlake Village. A commitment to high standards, top-quality ingredients, and family values has cemented Brent’s Deli’s reputation as one of the very best Jewish delis in America, and its greatest hits are now being delivered to doorsteps nationwide!
