Founder Andrés Ozzuna grew up in San Isidro just outside Buenos Aires, where weekends were spent baking beside his grandmother, Tomasa, at her wooden kitchen table, making cookies, ravioli, and tarts while sneaking spoonfuls of dulce de leche. When Andrés moved to California, he brought that tradition with him, naming the company after the communal table that inspired his love of baking.
