With help from her young son in the kitchen, Despina perfected her cookie dough recipe while baking for neighbors, friends, and family. Word quickly spread about her rich, handcrafted cookies, turning a home kitchen hobby into a growing following. After years of shipping cookies from home, she opened the first La Madame Biscuit bakery in SouthSide Bethlehem.
