Happy Joe’s is an iconic Upper Midwestern pizza & ice cream chain with more than 50 restaurants throughout the region, and they’re all about fun, quality, and, of course, pizza! Founder Joe “Happy Joe” Whitty opened the first location of Happy Joe’s in 1972 after being inspired by the idea of a pizza parlor and ice cream palace that would be fun for the whole family. Over the years, millions of children and adults alike have fallen in love with Happy Joe’s legendary pizza, and benefited from Joe’s generous philanthropic efforts.

Joe Whitty passed away in 2019, but his legacy lives on through the company’s continued support of charitable organizations, sponsorship of community events, and top-quality pizza that’s not too thick and not too thin. Happy Joe’s has become renowned for putting a creative spin on their pizzas, topping them with everything from eggs, cheese, & bacon to Canadian bacon & sauerkraut to their iconic Taco Pizza, which they invented!
