Anjar Chocolatier in Austin, Texas crafts artisan chocolates inspired by French confectionery techniques and bold, modern flavors. Rooted in a family legacy that began in 1929 with a German immigrant’s thriving candy business in Brazil, the founder grew up surrounded by chocolate-making tradition and developed a deep passion for the craft. After graduating from Indiana University, he refined his skills studying French Chocolate and Confectionary Arts at École Ducasse.
Drawn to Austin’s creative energy and appreciation for craftsmanship, he opened his first storefront and chocolate factory, elevating the city’s artisan chocolate scene. Today, Anjar Chocolatier continues that legacy with thoughtfully crafted confections shipped nationwide on Goldbelly.
