After a stint in New York marketing, she followed her gut, completed an intensive pastry training back home, and returned to the city with a dream. Pâtisserie Vanessa was born, quickly earning a reputation as the go-to source for NYC's best hotels, specialty food shops, and coffee bars. Ten years in, husband Marc joined the family business, and together they made it official: opening Pâtisserie Vanessa's first flagship on the Upper East Side.
