The name is a dare. normal® ice cream, the Salt Lake City shop named a 2023 James Beard Award semifinalist for Outstanding Bakery, makes composed soft serve cones built like plated desserts, layered, textured, and meant to be eaten with your hands. Nothing here comes off a truck: the cookies are baked in house, the mallow fluff is hand-whipped, the teas are steeped on site.
