LUNCH Lobster Roll is synonymous with the summer sun and being in The Hamptons. Founded as a tiny roadside clam shack in 1965 by Frederick H. Terry and his dad, Richard C. Terry, the restaurant was the first to introduce the now-ubiquitous lobster roll to Long Island and the New York City Area. Over the years, The Lobster Roll and its neon sign (which proudly proclaims “LUNCH”) became Amagansett landmarks, and regulars began affectionately referring to it as simply Lunch.
