Buttermilk Sky Pie Shop, the Southern bakery behind hand-crimped Mini Pies and from-scratch cream pies rooted in Arkansas and Mississippi family recipes, was founded by Scott and Meredith — two people whose grandmothers defined what pie should taste like. Scott learned fruit pies on a Missouri farm; Meredith spent Memphis weekends beside her Nanny, the neighborhood's unofficial pie lady. Those memories became the menu.
