Mt. Qi Pork Hand-Ripped Noodles Kit for 4
With this kit, you’ll cook wide and chewy hand-ripped “biang-biang” noodles fresh and toss them with flavorful pieces of pork belly cooked in a spicy, sour, and tingly sauce as well as Xi’an’s proprietary sauce (consisting of soy sauce and black vinegar) and chili oil made in small batches based on secret family recipes.
What started as a 200-square-foot basement stall in a Queens shopping mall in 2005 has expanded into a collection of restaurants across New York City serving cuisine from Xi’an, China. At Xi’an Famous Foods, founder Jason Wang has brought his old family recipes to the masses with dishes that are a combination of Chinese and Middle Eastern flavors like spicy and chewy hand-pulled “biang-biang” noodles, fiery beef noodles, and spicy cumin lamb burgers. It also has vegan options, like its signature hot oil-seared noodles. Xi’an Famous Foods has been featured on Anthony Bourdain’s “No Reservations” and Andrew Zimmern’s “Bizarre Foods.”
