Willamette Valley Pie Company ships its famous Pumpkin Chiffon Pie nationwide on Goldbelly! Oregon’s Willamette Valley Fruit Company makes this one-of-a-kind Pumpkin Chiffon Pie with alternating layers of light pumpkin chiffon filling and spiced whipping cream.

Founded in 1999 by the Gerald Roth family, the Willamette Valley Pie Company has been locally growing strawberries, raspberries, boysenberries, blueberries, blackberries, cranberries, and, of course, the Marionberry, the crowning glory of the Oregon berry world. Named after Marion county and grown exclusively in the Beaver State, Marionberries are a cross between the Chehalem and Olallieberry blackberry and have the rich, earthy juiciness of a Cabernet grape. What began as a small Salem, Oregon, cannery has transformed into one of the Northwest’s leading berry producers and, in 2001, a pie company was added. The Willamette Valley Fruit Company makes pies “as good as grandma’s!”

In order to make as many pies as possible during this holiday season, Willamette Valley has modified their signature 4 layer chiffon pie, into a 2 layer pie.

Instructions / Storage

  • Keep this pie frozen until you’re ready to serve it. (Isn’t it nice you can keep one in the freezer “just because”?)
  • Once thawed, please keep it refrigerated and don’t refreeze or store it at room temperature.
  • For best results, remove the plastic overwrap and then place the pie back in it’s box in the refrigerator and let it thaw overnight. Or you can thaw it at a cool room temperature (68 degrees F) for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Be sure to serve it quickly after it’s thawed so you can taste the creamy perfections of flavors. (As if you could wait!)
  • When it’s an oven free, just let it be! Microwave is not recommended and these oven free pies should never be baked.

I really enjoyed the Marionberry Pie! It reminded me of the ones my grandmother use to make on the farm in Tennessee when I was little, which was 60 years ago!

The pie crust was incredible (actually tasted like something!), the apples were so fresh and crisp. The crumb topping was just enough sweetness. Shipping was so fast! I’ll definitely order again.

This is amazing pie. I was a child in the 1940s growing up in Oregon. Marion berries conceived right there in Oregon. Always has been one of my favorites, along with huckleberry pie (hint, hint). Nothing like it anywhere else. Thank you, thank you.

Willamette Valley Marionberry are just over the top goodness. I also love how you bake them yourself, maximizing freshness. I wish you all would have a separate section of ready-to-bake foods or desserts, I will look for these more often I think.
