Launched with only an Ice Cream truck on the streets of NYC in 2008, Van Leeuwen Artisan Ice Cream set out to revive the art of traditional ice cream making, creating ice cream in small batches in Greenpoint, Brooklyn with fresh milk and cream, pure cane sugar and organic egg yolks. Each of their classic and vegan flavors is crafted with ingredients, often sourced directly from some of the world’s best artisan producers and farmers. While their ice cream empire has expanded well beyond that first truck, the handcrafted attention to detail and flavor can still be tasted in every single bite.
