Each smoked salmon is vacuum-sealed in SeaBear’s famous Gold Seal pouch and gently cooked in its own natural juices; this preserves the salmon naturally so no refrigeration is required until opened. Ready to serve.
In 1957, fisherman Tom Savidge and his wife Marie began smoking wild salmon in their backyard smokehouse and selling it to local taverns in Anacortes, Washington. The fish gained massive popularity and SeaBear Smokehouse was born. Instructions / Storage
- Smoked Salmon is shelf-stable for approx. 4 years and ships without ice packs or dry ice
- No freezing or refrigeration needed (until opened)
- Once opened, the smoked salmon will last 4-7 days in the fridge
If you open the box and look at the gold pouch, you’ll notice a series of letters & numbers (either on a white sticker or stamped directly on the pouch, usually in red ink).
