Kimchi Jigae – Cabbage, Salt, Pepper Powder, Garlic, Ginger, Sugar, Onion, Soy Sauce, Pork Belly, Seaweed & Anchovy Broth, Oil, Msg, Scallion, Fish Sauce, Salted Shrimp Sauce
Dwenjang Jjigae – Scallion, Onion, Zucchini, Beef, Fermented Soybean Paste, MSG, Fish Sauce
Side Dishes – Chayote, Onion, Jalapeno, Cauliflower, Lettuce, Radish, Sugar, Vinegar, Anchovy Broth, Soy Sauce, Cucumber

Instructions / Storage

  • This package ships with dry ice and ice packs, may thaw in transit.
  • DO NOT handle dry ice with bare hands.
  • Please put frozen items into the freezer and non-frozen items into the fridge if you do not plan on consuming upon arrival.
  • Items can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 week, or in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
  • Side dishes may be enjoyed straight out of the jar, meats require cooking, soups require reheating.
  • Kimchi lasts up to 3 months in the refrigerator, do not freeze.
  • Kimchi is fermented and will last a very long time, flavors will change over time.

To Serve

To Defrost

  • Prior to consumption, place the meat inside fridge for 24 hours to slowly defrost it overnight.
  • To defrost quickly, leave the meat in the unopened bag submerged in the cold water for 30 – 45 min.

Samwon Galbi

  • Heat grill until sizzling (450* – 500*F)
  • Place the meat on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, and then flip it to cook the other side.

The cooking time is approximately:

  • 1 minute per side for Medium
  • 2 minutes per side for Well Done
  • We recommend pairing marinated prime short rib with Samwon Galbi dipping sauce (#1)
  • We recommend pairing meat with Green/Red Leaf Lettuce and Seasoned Soybean Paste (#4)

Pork Galbi

  • Heat grill until sizzling (450* – 500*F)
  • Place the meat on the grill and cook until golden brown and slightly charred, and then flip it to cook the other side.
  • Flip every 30 seconds to prevent burning, total cooking time is approximately 4-6 minutes. (Pork should be cooked thoroughly)
  • Depending on the grill and the temperature, cooking time will vary.
  • Recommended to enjoy as-is, or with seasoned soybean paste (#4).

Soups & Stews

  • Empty contents into small saucepan.
  • Heat slowly until hot, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat once the soup/stew is boiling.

Rice
Microwave

  • Peel back the film to the dotted line
  • Heat on high for 90 seconds
  • Enjoy!

Stove Top

  • Boil a large pot of water
  • Place the unopened package in boiling water for 10 minutes
  • Enjoy!
