Woodstock’s Cult-Favorite Meatball Shop
Sharkie's Meatballs, the Woodstock, New York institution behind handmade, slow-cooked gluten-free meatballs crafted with premium beef and antibiotic-free poultry, was opened in 2017 by Mark Rosenberg — who left New York and San Francisco behind to focus on perfecting the humble meatball in a tiny 300-square-foot shop on Tinker Street. Named for Mark's childhood nickname, it started as a one-man takeout counter and quickly became a local fixture.
