Since being crowned the first female Iron Chef on Food Networkâs âIron Chef Americaâ back in 2005, Mississippi-born chef Cat Cora has gone on to become one of Americaâs most well-known celebrity chefs and restaurateurs, blazing a trail through the culinary world with countless restaurants, cookbooks, and awards to her name.
Cora wears many hats: chef, author, restaurateur, contributing editor, television host and personality, avid philanthropist, health and fitness expert, lifestyle entrepreneur, and proud mother of six. Sheâs opened more than 18 restaurants across the United States and globally, highlighting her platform on health, wellness and sustainability. Sheâs also published three cookbooks, one childrenâs book, and a memoir, and in 2018, Cora launched her Womenâs Empowerment Culinary Internship Program to mentor, give back, and help women succeed in the culinary arts.
