Instructions / Storage

Storage & Care:
All products are cooked and frozen just before shipping, and can be stored frozen for up to 12 months. Once thawed, Phil’s foods should be enjoyed within 2 days per the instructions included with each order.

Preparation:
Get your favorite seafood from a local grocer; we suggest fresh crab, clams, and mussels (which should all be steamed prior to adding them to the sauce), squid, fish, scallops, and prawns. Defrost the sauce in the refrigerator, pour it into a pot over medium heat, and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes. Add the seafood to the sauce and cook for an additional 10 minutes stiffing occasionally. Enjoy!

We received a gallon of Phil's Fish Market capping last year. It came in from CA still frozen solid. With the addition of some clam juice, shrimp and prawns, it lasted many enjoyable meals. Yummmm. Ordered two gallons this holiday season for when our three kids and their families come here to AZ. Looking forward to a very happy meal together!!!!

Manhattan foodie here loved my order from Phil's. Tho my Lazy Man's Bouillabaisse traveled clear across the US to reach me, it arrived carefully packaged, still perfectly frozen, and contained much more well-seasoned seafood than I expected.

The process worked very well. I ordered cioppino on a Sunday, it was prepared on Monday, and arrived nicely frozen (dry ice) on Tuesday. (By the way, it was for a Superbowl party to make sure I had my 49ers guests covered. In the end, the cioppini was nicknamed "loser stew.")
