Each of Nathan’s Famous® Cheesesteaks are made with 1/2 lb. Black Angus Ribeye from Pat LaFrieda, Caramelized Onions, LaFrieda Butcher Reserve Steak Sauce, American Cheese, and served on a Baguette.

Instructions / Storage
- Kit ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
- Upon Arrival
- FRIES: Keep frozen until ready to prepare.
- STEAK, CHEESE & ONIONS: Store refrigerated for no more than 4 days.
- STEAK SAUCE: Store at room temperature or refrigerate. Note: Steak portions are separated by wax paper, one portion per sandwich.
ROLL PREPARATION
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Place rolls on a sheet pan or sheet of foil, uncovered.
- Place in the middle rack of oven.
- Bake for 3-4 minutes or until rolls are hot and slightly crisp on the exterior.
PAT LAFRIEDA STEAK SAUCE
- Steak sauce can be spread inside the rolls after baking, just before adding steak to rolls
CHEESESTEAK PREPARATION
- Pre-heat a large non-stick skillet on medium high heat.
- Add one tablespoon of oil and spread evenly over the bottom of the pan.
- Lay steaks in the pan and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until seared on one side, then turn over and cook an additional 30 seconds or until brown on the second side.
- Begin separating and chopping steak using the edge of one or two spatulas.
- When steak is about 3⁄4 brown, reduce heat to medium and place onions evenly over steaks and then cover the steak with a layer of sliced cheese.
- Cover with a lid (or foil) for 30 seconds or until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and portion steak in heated, sauced rolls.
FRY PREPARATION
OVEN
- Preheat oven to 425°F
- Arrange frozen Fries in a single layer on an 11” x 17” baking sheet.
- Cook until golden brown (about 30 minutes).
- Season to taste.
FRYING:
- Caution: Ice crystals on frozen foods can cause spattering when added to hot oil
- Add product carefully
- Tips for frying with oil: Always preheat oil uncovered. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. When spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot burner of range.
PAN FRY:
- Heat 1/4 cup cooking oil in large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully add frozen Fries to form a single layer.
- Fry 7 to 11 minutes, turning frequently. Cook until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels. Season to taste.
DEEP FRY:
- Preheat cooking oil in electric deep fryer to 375°F. Fill deep fryer not more than half full of oil or recommended level.
- Fill fryer basket not more than half full of frozen Fries. Carefully lower basket into hot oil.
- Fry 3 1⁄2 to 5 minutes. Cook to a golden color.
- Drain on paper towels. Season to taste.
