Instructions

Brisket

Upon arrival, store products in freezer. If frozen, thaw for 2 days in the refrigerator before heating.

Heating:

  • STEP 1 Preheat oven to 225 F.
  • STEP 2 Wrap cryovaced brisket with heavy duty aluminum foil, forming a complete seal.
  • STEP 3 Place the brisket on a sheet tray and place in preheated oven with the correct side facing up (see sticker on package).
  • STEP 4 Heat the brisket in the oven for 2 hours. Temp the meat by puncturing the top of the brisket with a thermometer. If the brisket is 165 F or higher, it is done. If not, check again in 15 minute intervals until the temperature has reached 165 F.
  • STEP 5 Let rest for 10 minutes before removing foil and cryovac bag.
  • STEP 6 Remove foil and cut a hole in the cryovac bag. Drain excess liquid into a bowl, then unwrap the brisket.
  • STEP 7 Cut the brisket again against the grain in 1/4" slices. Pour reserved liquid over the brisket and enjoy!
