Country Ham: Dry, Hickory Cured Country Ham

Hashbrown Casserole:

Instructions / Storage

  • Sides & Ham ship frozen with dry ice, may thaw in transit
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands
  • Country Ham Slices and Pieces are USDA-approved shelf-stable products, good out of refrigeration for up to 1 week
  • Once opened, country ham should be refrigerated and enjoyed within 1 week
  • Biscuit Mix should be cooled in cool, dry place.
  • Frozen Heat & Eat Sides, should be stored in the freezer but may be stored in the refrigerator and thawed for up to 48 hours

Cooking Instructions

Ham

  • Heat skillet to 350 ℉ on medium high
  • Add 2 tbsp. cooking oil or bacon grease (optional)
  • Sear ham slices by frying vigorously for 2 minutes on each side or 4 minutes for diced seasoning.

Hashbrown Casserole

  • From Frozen:
    • Preheat oven to 375* F
    • Remove lid and bake uncovered for 65-75 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165* F.
  • From Thawed:
    • Thaw in refrigerator for up to 48 hours
    • Pre-heat oven to 375* F
    • Remove lid and bake uncovered for about 45-55 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165* F.

Macaroni and Cheese:

  • Place aluminum tray on baking sheet and remove lid. Preheat oven to 375 F degrees.
  • From Frozen:
    • Bake for 50-60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees.
  • From Thawed:
    • Bake uncovered for about 40-50 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165 F degrees.
  • Oven times may very. If cheese begins to brown too much, carefully cover with foil and continue baking until done.

Creamed Corn:

  • From Frozen:
    • Preheat oven to 375F degrees
    • Remove lid and bake uncovered for 60 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F degrees.
  • From Thawed:
    • Thaw in refrigerator for up to 48 hours
    • Preheat oven to 375F degrees
    • Remove lid and bake uncovered for 45 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165F degrees.

Biscuits

  • Just add buttermilk!
  • For 12 – 14 biscuits
    • Mix 1 1/4 cups of our Biscuit Mix with 2/3 cup buttermilk.
  • For 50 – 56 biscuits
    • Use the whole package – two pounds – and mix in 2 2/3 cups of buttermilk to feed a hungry crowd

  • Loveless Cafe ships Monday-Thursday of each week.
  • Orders cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.
  • Orders shipped to Alaska and Hawaii via 2-day will incur an additional $20 charge or $35 for Overnight Shipping. Sorry guys!
