Instructions

Pastrami, Corned Beef, Reuben, Triple Decker Sandwich Kits

Storage

  • Sandwich kit is shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
  • Meat is made to order and flash frozen for shipping
  • Allow meat to thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours or on a countertop before serving
  • Frozen items can be stored in freezer for several weeks. Fresh items can be stored in refrigerator for several days.

Heating

  • Boil a large pot of water
  • Place the entire package of meat into the water and reduce heat to low (do not open package prior to submerging. And don’t worry, the plastic is designed withstand the heat)
  • If meat is thawed, heat for 5-6 minutes. If frozen, heat for 10-15 minutes
  • Remove from heat and slice open package
  • Your sandwich is ready for assembling!

Knishes

Heating

  • Place knishes on a baking sheet and heat in a 325F preheated oven until hot and golden brown
  • Knishes can also be heated in a microwave on high for 3-4 minutes

Matzah Ball Soup

  • Place thawed soup in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 3-4 minutes. Soup can also be warmed on a stove top

Rolled Beef Sandwich Kit

Storage

  • Sandwich kit is shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
  • Meat is made to order and flash-frozen for shipping
  • Upon arrival, place the meat, pickles and mustard in the refrigerator. May be kept in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
  • If serving later, place the meat and bread in the freezer – may be kept frozen for up to 30 days
  • Allow meat to thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours or on a countertop before serving

Knockwurst & Frankfurters Kit

Storage

  • This kit is shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
  • Knockwurst and frankfurters are frozen prior to shipping
  • Upon arrival, place the knockwursts, frankfurters, mustard and sauerkraut in the refrigerator. To serve later, place the links and bread in the freezer

Heating

  • To cook, grill knockwursts and frankfurters on direct high heat, rotating frequently for 3-4 minutes. They can also be cooked in a non-stick skillet at medium or low heat, rotating frequently for 7-9 minutes or until golden brown on all sides
