Instructions

Hard Salami

Salami is frozen and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit. Upon arrival, store the meat in the refrigerator.

Kishka

Storage

Kishka is shipped frozen with ice packs. Keep the kishka in the freezer for weeks or store in refrigerator to thaw and use within 3 days

Heating

  • STOVETOP Sear kishka in a pan at a medium temperature with a tablespoon of oil. Remove casing prior to using this method
  • STEAM Cut kishka into approximately 2 inch discs and steam until soft and internal temp reaches 160F
  • MICROWAVE Kishka may be microwaved on high for approximately 2 min
Remove casing after heating product before consumption if you are steaming or microwaving

Sliced Tongue, Soft Salami

  • Meats are frozen and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
  • Upon arrival, place the meat in the refrigerator or freezer to serve later
  • Allow meat to thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours or on a countertop before serving

Sliced Pastrami, Corned Beef, Brisket 

Storage

  • Meats are frozen and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
  • Upon arrival, place the meat in the refrigerator or freezer to serve later
  • Allow meat to thaw in the refrigerator for a few hours or on a countertop before heating

Heating

  • STEP 1 Boil a large pot of water
  • STEP 2 Place the entire package of meat into the water and reduce heat to low (do not open package prior to submerging. And don’t worry, the plastic is designed withstand the heat)
  • STEP 3 If meat is thawed, heat for 5-6 minutes. If frozen, heat for 10-15 minutes
  • STEP 4 Remove from heat and slice open package
