Storage
Fresh food from Kenny & Ziggy’s should be enjoyed within two days of arrival. All food may also be frozen for up to 2 months with the exception of the following items (which should be refrigerated and never be frozen): Mustard, Russian Dressing, Sauerkraut, Pickles, Cream Cheese, Apple Sauce, Coleslaw and Sour Cream.
Cheese Blintzes
Heating:
Heat 4 Tablespoons of oil in frying pan over medium heat . Add Blintzes and fry on each side for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
Potato Pancakes (Latkes)
Heating:
Preheat your oven to 350 °F. Spread potato pancakes out on a cookie sheet, place in preheated oven, and heat until crispy, approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with the included applesauce and sour cream. Enjoy!
Knishes
Heating:
Preheat your oven to 250 °F. Wrap the knishes in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet. Place the baking sheet in the oven and heat for 20 to 25 minutes (Mini Knishes should be heated for 15 to 20 minutes).
Kishka
Heating:
Preheat oven to 375 ̊ spread out on a cookie sheet and heat until crispyfor approximate time is 20-25 minutes. Do not over heat.
Kasha Varnishka &, Egg Barley Farfel with Mushrooms
Heating:
Place in a Pyrex dish and cover with foil. Heat at 250 ̊ for 20-25 minutes. Do not overheat.
Noodle Kugel
Heating:
Heat contents in tin for 15 minutes at 250 ̊. Remove top and heat for an additional 10-15 minutes to crisp the top.
Stuffed Cabbage
Heating:
Leave in the tin, replace the lid with foil, or place in a Pyrex dish with foil on top. Heat at 250 ̊ for 35–45 minutes.
Hungarian Goulash
Heating:
Empty all of the contents into a Pyrex dish, cover with foil and heat at 250 ̊ for 20-25 minutes.
