Since its founding by Samuel Sherman in 1949, Joe’s Steaks has become a Philly cheesesteak institution in Northeast Philadelphia. Philly Magazine has listed these as the “Best Philly Cheesesteak” on their “Best of Philly” List.
These Vegan cheesesteaks are made to order using vegan beef, vegan cheese, and vegan mayo. Packed in-house on a vegan roll with mushrooms and fried onions.
This package serves 12-15 people and includes 12 Vegan Philly Cheesesteaks
- Each cheesesteak is 9-10" long

Instructions / Storage
- Cheesesteaks are made to order, frozen and shipped with ice packs which may thaw partially or fully during transit
- Upon arrival, place cheesesteaks in the refrigerator
- They can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days or can be frozen for up to 2 months
- To serve, follow heating instructions below:
- Preheat oven to 300º F.
- Remove vegan cheesesteaks from packaging, wrap in a paper towel, and microwave for about 15 seconds (until you can open the sandwich).
- On a foil-lined cookie sheet, place sandwich open-faced and tent with foil.
- Heat sandwiches for 10 minutes and remove the foil tent
- Continue to heat for 2-4 more minutes adding the vegan cheese, until bread is crispy and meat & vegan cheese are hot.
- Package includes Sautéed Mushrooms and Fried Onions, heat using ONE of the cooking methods below:
- MICROWAVE: Heat mushrooms and onions on HIGH for 45 seconds to 1 ½ minute, or until hot.
- STOVE TOP: Place a little cooking oil in a sauce pan. Reheat mushrooms and onions over medium heat until hot, stirring occasionally.
