Dominick’s Diner is an Erie, Pennsylvania, institution, and has been a local standby since first opening its doors in 1958. It’s a beloved hangout for its loyal working-class clientele, who pack in for a free Thanksgiving dinner every year and feast on its legendary meatball omelette, homemade sausages, and stuffed red pepper soup as a true taste of home.

This package serves 4 people and includes:

  • 12 Meatballs (each 3 oz.)
  • Red Sauce (1.5 qts.)
  • Stuffed Red Pepper Soup (1/2 Gal)


  • Meatballs and Sauce – Ground Beef, Eggs, Bread Crumbs, Garlic, Spices, Pork Broth, Tomato Puree.
  • Soup – Green Peppers, Celery, Ground Beef, Tomato, Spices, Beef Broth, White Rice

Instructions / Storage

  • Combo ships frozen with ice packs, may thaw in transit
  • Upon arrival, store contents in the refrigerator or freezer
  • Thaw overnight in the refrigerator before heating

To Seve

Meatballs & Sauce – Stovetop

  • Defrost meatballs and sauce in the fridge
  • In a saucepan on medium/high heat, heat the meatballs directly in the sauce
  • Heat until meatballs are hot throughout.

Meatballs & Sauce – Microwave

  • Defrost meatballs and sauce in the fridge
  • Put in a microwave-safe container
  • Heat at 45-second intervals until heated through

Soup – Stovetop

  • Defrost soup in the fridge
  • In a saucepan on medium/high heat, heat the soup until hot

Soup – Microwave

  • Defrost soup in the fridge
  • Put in a microwave-safe container
  • Heat at 45-second intervals until heated through

Make Your Own Famous Meatball Omelette


  • 2 Meatballs in Red Sauce
  • 3 XL Eggs (Not Included)
  • 2 Slices Provolone Cheese (Not Included)


  • Start with beating the eggs
  • Take 2 meatballs with light/medium sauce amount and cut each meatball into 6 pieces with a fork on the plate
  • Once the eggs are beaten, put them on a pre-heated grill or in a pan.
  • Once the eggs are approximately ½ cooked, add the meatballs & sauce mixture
  • Fold the omelet and add the cheese to the top
  • Cover and steam the omelet for approx. 30 seconds, or until the cheese is melted
  • Put a small amount of sauce on the serving plate and carefully lay the omelet on top of the sauce
  • Lastly, put a light/medium strip of sauce across the top of the omelet. (be careful not to entirely cover the omelet with sauce)
  • Enjoy!!!
