This burnt end boudin is Bodacious Bar-B-Q’s take on the Cajun classic with a Texas twist. It’s full of perfectly cooked brisket burnt ends and seasonings!

Bodacious Bar-B-Q was founded back in 1965 by Roland Lindsey, a true Texas barbecue pioneer. Even though Lindsey passed away in 2018, his legacy lives on through his authentic Texas-style ‘cue prepared by pitmaster Bryan Bingham, which was named the state’s fourth-best by Texas Monthly in 2017.

Ingredients

Our seasonings are all gluten-free. We avoid using any kind of allergens in our foods with the exception of our specialty sausages which usually contain cheese. As far as seasonings go, the specialty sausages and boudin are rotating and contain a proprietary blend of spices as
well as our brisket rub.

Instructions / Storage

  • All items ship frozen with dry ice and ice packs (dry ice may evaporate and ice packs may thaw in transit)
  • Do not remove dry ice with bare hands
  • Upon arrival, remove items from packaging and place them in the refrigerator or freezer depending on the desired use.
  • Items may be stored in the refrigerator for 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

To Serve

Cooler Reheating Instructions:

  • Do not remove from vacuum-sealed boiling bag
  • Fill an appropriately sized cooler with boiling water
  • Carefully place the vacuum-sealed boiling bag into boiling water
  • Close lid and let sit for approximately 2 hours
  • Carefully remove the vacuum-sealed boiling bag from hot water
  • Remove meat from boiling bag
  • Carve…Serve…Enjoy!

Stove Top Reheating Instructions:

  • Do not remove meat from vacuum-sealed boiling bag
  • Select a boiling bot large enough to hold meat
  • Fill the pot with water leaving room for meat
  • Bring water to a boil
  • Reduce heat to simmer
  • Carefully place the vacuum-sealed boiling bag into hot water
  • Simmer for 20-30 minutes or until hot
  • Carefully remove the vacuum-sealed boiling bag from hot water
  • Remove meat from boiling bag
  • Carve…Serve…Enjoy!
