Green Chili Hot Links
This is 4505’s take on a traditional hot link sausage, made with beef and roasted Hatch green chiles, with an extra kick from paprika, cayenne, coriander and a little yellow mustard. They’re made with all-natural beef and natural pork casing.

Cheddar, Beef, & Bacon Sausage
4505’s house sausages are made with both beef and pork, and are loaded with bacon and Tillamook cheddar cheese. They’re made with all-natural beef and pork and natural pork casing.

Bacon & Beef Hot Dogs
4505’s signature hot dogs are unlike any other hot dog you’ll find anywhere! They’re made with a blend of beef, pork, chicken and bacon for a balanced flavor and texture, simply seasoned with paprika, coriander, and salt and pepper. They’re made with the same high-quality, all-natural meats as the barbecue.

Since 2009, chef and butcher Ryan Farr has been serving some of San Francisco’s best barbecue at his 4505 Burgers + BBQ. Farr smokes humanely-raised meats low and slow in one of the area’s last remaining historic wood-fired barbecue pits.

To Serve

Oven Method

  • Place frozen vacuum-sealed package(s) in the refrigerator to thaw for at least 24 hours prior to reheating
  • Remove sausage links from the vacuum sealed bag, wrap in the provided BBQ paper and place on a rimmed cookie sheet
  • Place in a 230°F preheated oven for 30 minutes until the sausage has reached an internal temperature of 155°F
  • Gently sear on a hot grill or pan on all sides for 1 minute or till there are visible grill and/or sear marks on the sausages.

Cook-In-Beer Method

  • Place frozen vacuum sealed package(s) in the refrigerator to thaw for at least 24 hours prior to reheating
  • Fill a large pot with 6-8 light beers, making sure the sausages will be fully submerged.
  • Slowly bring the beer to a simmer. Then, place all sausages in the pot and let the beer come back to a gentle simmer. Once a gentle simmer is achieved, cover with a lid and turn off the heat.
  • Let the sausages sit covered with a lid in hot beer for 20 minutes
  • With tongs, remove sausages from the beer and place directly on your grill
  • Gently sear on a hot grill on all sides for 1 minute or till there are visible grill and/or sear marks on the sausages. Every time you turn the sausage on the grill, dip the sausage back into the beer and grill the other side, repeating this step until desired grill marks are achieved.

Hot Water Method

  • Place frozen vacuum-sealed package(s) in the refrigerator to thaw for at least 24 hours prior to reheating
  • Place 1 gallon of water in a large pot, making sure the meat will be fully submerged.
  • Bring the water to a simmer. Place the entire vacuum-sealed package in the pot, and let the water come back to a gentle simmer. Once the water begins to simmer, cover with a lid and turn off the heat (Don’t worry, the plastic packaging is specifically designed to withstand the heat.)
  • Let the sausages sit in the hot water for 20 minutes
  • With tongs, remove the vacuum sealed package(s) from the water and carefully remove sausages from the package(s).
  • Gently sear on a hot grill or pan on all sides for 1 minute or until there are visible grill and/or sear marks on the sausages.

Add – ons

  • All sides are fully cooked and handled with the most care possible
  • Reheating Beans – Slowly heat on medium heat till beans are warm through, stirring occasionally so the bottom of the an doesn’t burn
  • All sides should be eaten within 2 days of receiving your package
